We are looking for a professional in the field of industrial designproduct design or graphic design.
You must meet the requirements of the government program Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro.
You must work in Colima. Starting January 2025.

Who are we
Nopal Design is a GermanMexican design and architecture office based in Colima. We are planning to expand our service portfolio to include more designrelated services.
We work in the field of planning and construction as well as product design, interior design and graphic design.
We maintain a relaxed and professional work atmosphere and strive to be more environmentally friendly, both as an office and in our projects. One of our goals is to raise our clients awareness of sustainability issues and implement more sustainable solutions in our work.

Your Mission Industrial Design

Product Design
Creation of digital and physical products such as consumer goods, furniture, and custom pieces,
Use of rapid prototyping techniques like 3D printing and laser cutting
Incorporate sustainable materials and innovative manufacturing techniques in our designs
Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers
Oversee the entire process from concept, design, prototyping to final product

Sustainability
Work under the scope of sustainability such as material efficiency, evironmentally friendlyness, repairability, etc.

Research Development
Conduct research on current design trends, materials, and technologies related to sustainability
Investigate and apply sustainable practices in crafting, prototyping, and the design of products

Order
Keep the work and files in order and archived

Your Mission Graphic Design

Graphic Products
Creation of digital and print products such as illustrations, posters, brochures, flyers, stickers, etc.
Development of logos, corporate designs, corporate identity, and style guides for clients
Oversee the entire process from concept and layout to final artwork to printready products

Corporate Design
Development of internal printed materials, templates or social media content
Ensure the adherence to and implementation of the corporate design and CI

PhotographyImage Editing
Handle image editing and retouching
Ideally, you are capable of taking professional photos for projects

Research
Conduct research on current design trends and relevant topics for projects

Order
Keep the work and files in order and archived

Your Profile Industrial Design

You must be enrolled in the government program Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro.
You must work in Colima
Completed studies in industrial designproduct design or similar
Be able to express your ideas in English our working language at the office is English

Passion for creative work and a keen eye for detail
Strong intuition for form, function, and materiality, with the ability to clearly represent complex ideas
Conceptual strength combined with creativity and an interest in sustainability
Meticulous in organizing and archiving digital data

Proficient in CAD software such as Rhino, Cinema 4D or similar
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator, Photoshop is a plus
Ability to express ideas with sketches, 3D models or through physical models
Experience with rapid prototyping techniques is an advantage

High standards of quality, a holistic approach, conscientiousness, and a high degree of selforganization and structuring
Reliability, commitment, and solutionoriented work
Good communication skills and team spirit

You are already enrolled in the government program Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro. or meet its requirements
Completed studies in graphic designcommunication design or similar

Strong intuition for typography, image composition, and design, with the ability to clearly represent complex issues
Conceptual strength combined with creativity and an instinct for trends
Strong graphic understanding and aesthetic sensitivity for colors, shapes, and materiality
Meticulous in organizing and archiving digital data

Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Interest in sustainability and artificial intelligence is an advantage
Knowledge of photography, video editing, social media, or 3D software is a plus
