About our client Our client is an investment management company focused on lodging real estate investments in Mexico with properties in the broader Caribbean region.
The company is sponsored by a private equity manager committed to building best-in-class real estate platforms in industrial, retail, residential, hotel, and multifamily properties.
In this opportunity, you will have the chance to lead the development and construction teams responsible for a strong portfolio of hotels through Mexico and Costa Rica.
The position is based in Mexico City.
What the job involves Develop strategy and operational plans with internal teams and external collaborators to execute multiple projects simultaneously Implement lean construction techniques to measure and control projects, while simultaneously reducing costs & time and improving quality & execution Regularly oversee the project on site to ensure effective project management Coordinate project schedules to ensure alignment with project scope, time, cost, quality, and available resources, including monitoring procurement, submission, and change order timelines Identify accurately and timely mitigate project execution risks; proactively escalating for decision making as needed Use lean construction methods to assess and manage projects, aiming to cut expenses and time, as well as enhance quality and performance Oversee efficient management of subcontractors, construction managers, and project consultants Manage and motivate diverse teams to strategically coordinate the high-quality completion of the projects Provide regular reports and updates on projects' advances to internal and external stakeholders Who we are looking for Solid construction experience, ideally with hospitality and luxury projects, vertical residential or mixed-use developments or commercial franchises, with solid understanding of the requirements of high brand standards Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture or related Strong analytical, management and number skills Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English Availability to travel You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
