Danfoss is looking for a Design Engineer in Apodaca for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC) Engineering department.
Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Research, design, evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
Prepare designs, specifications, analysis, and recommendations for development of new product variants.
Collaborate with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
Conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems.
Maintain records pertinent to each project in the form of time, sketches, drawings, material specifications.
Keep well informed on new developments in the research and design engineering.
Working with colleagues and cooperation partners across functions and locations (globally) is key in achieving success in the job.
As a person, you are self-motivated, proactive, creative, highly organized with strong attention to detail and a good team player who can interact with others, across borders and cultures.
And you have a “get it done” attitude.
You will work with 12 local colleagues and report directly to the Engineering manager.

Passion for technical problem solving.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or advanced course work in areas relevant to product development is required.
3+ years of experience working with product design and development and/or engineering research.
Proficiency in Inventor or another 3D-CAD system.
Knowledge in fluid dynamics is desired.
Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline committed environment.
Global mindset and outstanding communication skills.
Good time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively in developing systems and processes.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Needs to have a strong grasp and understanding of a team environment.
