Team/Role Overview The team covers wholesale credit risk under the data and technology group.
We are a global team with presence in the UK, USA, APAC and Mexico.
We pride ourselves on working collaboratively and are passionate about making an imprint on Citi’s data journey.
The Data Integration Group Manager is responsible for enabling the end-to-end execution and/or adoption of the Data Transformation plan in compliance with Citi’s Data Governance Policy.
Focuses on work efforts to demonstrate risk reduction and facilitate adherence to the Citi Data Governance Policy.
This position has an impact on the business by exercising control over resources, policy formulation and planning.
The job has primary accountability for the end results and setting policies.
This position requires a thorough understanding of enterprise data governance concepts, combined with practical experience of implementing them in a complex organization.
Excellent communication skills are required to influence internally, often at a senior level.
What you’ll do Manage a team or a functional area, while maintaining appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs; operate as a “player / coach” Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the program / project and associated dependencies Partner with other senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of project and to drive the execution of requirements, training, and ensuring compliance with Citi standards Directly impacts the businesses / functions by influencing stakeholders through advice or council Address potential barriers to timely execution before they impact the delivery, communicate potential risks and plans to mitigate issues and concerns What we’ll need from you Extensive years of experience in Banking or Finance preferred Demonstrates consistent track record of having worked as a Program or Project Manager, or working on large, strategic cross-functional projects Strong business analysis competency with historic success in shaping opportunities via conceptual thinking and abstract problem-solving capabilities Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives Ability to gain confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
