Define the vision and requirements for Enterprise Data Lake Design and develop a data platform that efficiently and cost-effectively addresses diverse data requirements.
Lead the development of our cutting-edge data platform, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies for event-driven processing, storage, and scalable APIs.
Drive innovation in data utilization through exploratory analytics, data mining, and discovery.
Implement enhancements to boost scalability, resilience, and reliability, collaborating across teams to execute ideas.
Collaborate with data engineers, API developers, and analysts to design elastic, scalable systems that stay ahead of technological advancements.
Develop and maintain foundational data products for reuse, ensuring accessibility and understanding for stakeholders.
Establish and enforce data quality standards and frameworks to ensure high-quality, reliable data.
Partner with data engineering teams to effectively deploy new capabilities.
Implement processes and tools to maintain Machine Learning pipelines in production.
Drive automation to enforce data engineering, security, and quality standards, optimizing cloud costs and efficiency.

Bachelor's or master’s in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
8+ years of experience building and scaling data platforms.
5+ years of experience with cloud data technologies (Snowflake, AWS, Apache Airflow).
Passion for leveraging data to drive actionable insights.
Proficiency in SQL and Python, with preferred experience in AWS Glue.
Experience with automation and scheduling tools (dbt, Redwood, Airflow).
Ability to convey insights effectively through creative analytics techniques.
Advocate for the capabilities and benefits of analytical data assets.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
Comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of API connectivity and data streaming architecture.
