The Role We are looking for a Credit Risk MI and Loss Forecast Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-growing Fintech team at Clip.
In this role, he/she will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing credit strategies with a focus on profitability, ensuring that risk management aligns with financial goals.
The specialist will track and enhance credit risk forecasts, conduct profitability benchmarks, and incorporate insights into decision-making processes.
This role also involves developing controls, managing risk-related information for key committees, and supporting data- driven decisions that maximize both risk control and business profitability     What will I be doing? Data Analysis.
Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk within the lending portfolio.
Profitability.
Develop and establish a profit-based calculator with a focus on risk to ensure an optimal credit risk strategy and guarantee the company's profit margins.
Stress Testing.
Create scenarios exploring the interplay of risk and return, highlighting the potential linked to customer behavior and economic landscapes.
Credit Portfolio and Collection Management.
Monitor performance and generate insights for risk strategies.
Forecasting.
Establish a recurring process to forecast profitability indicators.
Communication.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, finance, operations, and customer support, to provide insights and recommendations for improving the lending process and customer experience.
Compliance.
Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and industry standards, ensuring all lending activities are in compliance with local and national regulations     Ideal Candidate  Bachelor's degree in statistics, finance, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
+3 or more years of experience in credit and collection management information.
Knowledge in credit profitability Proficiency in credit risk portfolio.
Knowledge of Mexican financial regulations and lending practices.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software   Technical.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Credit Profitability Credit and collection portfolio.
Forecast techniques and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
