PURPOSE OF THE ROLE the CD México & CAC is responsible for Thales International Development.
-He/she contributes to the growth and profitability ambition of Thales in the Country/Region through the definition and execution of a market & customer-driven Strategy, fuelling actionable and impactful Marketing Plans in support of the local Account teams business objectives.
-He/She is responsible for the country's result in term of order intake, margin on order intake, and cost of functions, client satisfaction & cash flow.
– He/She is the legal representative of Thales in his/her country (in particular with prescriber, institutional players, public authorities, elected representatives, elected officials, union representatives, etc...) and is responsible for defining the budget and ensuring its proper execution.
-In the geographical area assigned to him/her, the Country Director is responsible for elaborating and executing the local strategy validated by Thales.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
Provide BLs with insights on local market dynamics, opportunities & competitive environment, needs and expectations to grow the pipeline.
Enrich and orient BLs market participation strategy, product policy prioritization/adjustments and marketing plans.
2.
Define the Country strategy and its contribution to the SBP process while supporting Corp/GBUs/BLs in the definition and the coordinated execution of their in-country strategies 3.
Contribute to the Group M&A strategy execution through target identification, participation in the development of acquisition rationale, and integration of the target into Thales.
4.
Develop the strategic narrative that demonstrates the economic and social value of Thales to the local economy to maximise exploitation of opportunities for local investment funding (CFRD).
5.
Assess the opportunity for greater pull-through of Group products to the country of destination in coordination with the BLs.
6.
Identify transversal multi-GBU customer or market segment requirements to underpin the need for new segment-based offers.
7.
Support the country/region SAMs/KAMs in the definition and activation of their account-focused engagement plans.
Develop / personalize account specific integrated value propositions and value selling content.
Leverage relevant segment marketing content & campaign assets.
8.
Localize, develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns – activated through the Communications team channel strategy – in support of the local reputation of the company and country/region demand generation efforts.
Leverage Digital Marketing capabilities to optimize local customer engagement.
Track campaign KPIs.
9.
Develop and execute the local Sales Enablement efforts.
10.
Support complex capture teams that are tuned to local customer selection criteria, with the support of value & bid marketing (value props, Price to Win, black hats...) and support achievement of GMOI targets.
11.
Drive local Marketing Network excellence and the performance plan aligned to the changing needs of the business and end-user markets.
12.
Responsible for personnel management, local talent identification, development, and program attractiveness on the local market, in coordination with Global Activities.
13.
Responsible for security issues in the country in coordination with headquarters.
14.
Develops employee engagement and creates the conditions for effective teamwork.
15.
Ensures good relations with local union bodies and staff representatives.
EXPERIENCE Bac+5 Master M2/MBA/Engineer/Commerce.
Experience required.
At least 12 years' experience in large groups, including a significant part in positions of responsibility including sales and general management.
Ability to interact easily in international matrix organizations, with numerous interconnections.

Fluency in English Ability to enforce and promote Thales' code of ethics and compliance culture.

Ability to develop, federate and maintain a network of key people essential to the activity and influence of Thales within the customer's organization.
