Accountable to Accounting Department Manager Responsible to assist the Accounting Manager in credit and collection activities as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities * Cost accounting * Support a multi-million-dollar portfolio in outstanding accounts receivable * Collect proper documentation to evaluate credit applications * Assemble credit history and customer financial statements * Identify information to manage existing customer base and new credit line extensions * Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis * Process cash advances as needed * Process collateral report and other necessary bank financing activities * Process the filing of state and local taxes as well as helping the outsource tax vendor * Maintains compliance with regulation by forwarding required information to federal, state and local authorities * Ensure fixed asset control and Inventory Control * Create and follow up accruals for taxes, freight and payroll * Maintain filing of all documents * Assist in any other special projects as requested * Maintain various data files such as customer phone list, new account list etc.
* Prepare monthly reports (operations booklet) * Assist in the annual budget and the planned strategy * Update the job procedures, and watch over the security rules applied in the job areas * Partner of joint venture functions.
* Vendor Creation with proper revision.
* Payroll bookings.
* Complies with and follow all company policies, procedures, controls, and guidelines that includes but not limit US GAAP, sod, approvals matrix, etc.
