How you will contribute to our magical experience?.
The Coordinator, Corp Comms & Publicity will adress to the communication needs arising from the Franchises, DCP (Disney Consumer Product) and Live Events areas.
The Coordinator, Corp Comms & Publicity will be responsible for.
Supporting the MKT teams of DCP (Disney Consumer Product), Franchises, and Live Events, and collaborating with regional teams.
Enhancing differentiated actions and increasing exposure in press, media, and non-cash influencer networks.
Collaborating with other communication and marketing areas to boost results.
Coordinating with PR agencies to implement tailored communication strategies.
Managing the preparation, approval, and release of press releases across business lines.
Actively pitching press releases to media outlets.
Participating in braintrusts and briefs for events and campaigns.
Developing and executing PR campaigns and strategies.
Creating PowerPoint presentations for Franchises, Live Events, and DCP teams.
Nominating for interviews and events.
Monitoring and capitalizing on press opportunities.
Supporting and coordinating press activities across business lines.
Organizing and tracking PR agency efforts.
Coordinating and dispatching press and influencer kits.
Preparing press reports to showcase campaign results.
Requesting and managing purchase orders for suppliers.
Creating Non-POs for internal payments.
Updating and maintaining databases.
What we need from you to be part of this story.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in public relations, media, or related fields.
Strong writing and grammar skills, communication abilities, and negotiation capacity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of traditional and online media, influencers, social media.
Interest and knowledge in general entertainment (particularly films, series, TV shows, concerts, shows, and music) and experience with consumer products.
Preferred industries.
Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
Advanced level of English.
