We are in search of an experienced Controller with a “can do” attitude to help us on our trajectory of continued growth and market expansion.
This is a remote position, supporting our HQ team in Austin, TX.
Our Controller will assume a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, forecasting processes and proactively providing the necessary transparency to upper management to drive profitable decision making, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering strategic insights.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, actively contributing to the company's overall growth.

Responsibilities.
Team Leadership:?Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth.
Financial Reporting:?Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:?Develop annual budgets, monitor performance against targets, and provide variance analysis.
Internal Controls:?Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Cash Management:?Optimize cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions.
Financial Analysis:?Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Process Improvement:?Continuously enhance accounting processes and systems.
Tax Compliance:?Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Audit Coordination:?Coordinate external audits and manage audit relationships.
Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial roles.
Skilled with MS Office Suite.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.
., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Strategic mindset with a focus on process optimization.
Detailed oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and activities.
Experience in professional services or software/technology industries preferred.
Strong desire to develop, grow and build a successful career.
Desirable qualifications.
Advanced use of Excel, including use of pivot tables Experience with reporting and data visualization tools Bilingual (English - Spanish) Demonstrated track record in assembling, nurturing, and guiding a geographically diverse team of top-notch accounting professionals.
Proficient communicator, adept at conveying intricate business concepts and navigating complex situations through both written and verbal channels.
Skillfully engages with stakeholders and the leadership team to ensure clarity and alignment.
