Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and want to contribute to the development of the future of DRAM memory? Micron Technology, a global leader in memory innovation, is seeking a talented Compute Layout Engineer to join our team in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco in a hybrid work model.
In this role you will be responsible for.
Translating electrical schematics into detailed layouts used for the creation of fabrication reticles for assigned DRAM products.
Ensuring designs meet all engineering and process related criteria needed for an assigned Dram product.
Organizing and prioritizing logistics and resource allocations to meet scheduled deadlines.
Proactively developing methodologies for issue resolution.
Working with Design and other engineering groups to apply multiple layout techniques for the design and verification of digital and analog circuits.
Using computer aided design software (i.
.
Cadence, Calibre, etc.) Working with Design Engineers to floor plan and design layout Understanding and following verification protocols Applying custom and/or automated layout techniques to design pitch, array, and peripheral layout for digital and analog circuits.
Developing and maintaining technical knowledge in layout methodology, fab processes (including DFM and OPC), and tapeout processes and procedures.
Organizing, prioritizing, and managing logistic and resource allocations.
Prioritizing tasks to attain schedules and deadlines.
Proactively developing methodologies to resolve issues.
Guiding layout designers to encourage professional and technical development.
Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.
Strong skills in computer aided design (CAD) software such as Cadence and Calibre.
Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design and verification protocols.
Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) is a plus.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
