As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Compute dram Leader at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for coordinating and defining design efforts with multi-site team members and experts to meet scheduled deadlines in a multiple project-based environment.
You will also provide your team with the necessary tools and technical knowledge as it relates to understanding of processes and procedures such as circuit design, physical layout, verification, and product tape out.
You will also be responsible for the management of your team through performance development and creating an environment of continuous improvement.
? ? Responsibilities and Tasks? ? Define Deliverables and Timelines Acquiring models, parasitic and design rules from Process Integration? Receiving product requirements and boundary agreements from the business unit Manage team through schematic development, verification, and physical layout.
Manage timelines and commitment dates for project scheduling and tapeout Support revisions to meet qualification dates set by Product Engineering?? Follow up with Product Engineering on fail mechanisms, design debug, and corrective actions.
Enable Team Members with Tools and Technical Knowledge? Follow standardized design, layout and verification methodology.
Interface with other design groups to share IP and best-known practices.
Work with Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Probe, Test, Quality Assurance, CAD, etc.
for product alignment across groups.
Possess high level understanding of circuit design.? Understand tape out processes and procedures.? ? Manage and Participate in a Multiple Project-Based Environment? Organize, prioritize, and manage logistic and resource allocations for multiple projects.? Prioritize tasks to attain schedules and deadlines.? Proactively develop methodologies to resolve issues.? Guide layout designers and design engineers to encourage professional technical development.? Allocate resources based on business priorities.
? Manage Performance and Development of Team Members? Identify strengths and create specific development plans according to evaluated need.?? Establish goals and conduct performance appraisals.? Coach and provide career development.? Identify headcount needs, engage in recruiting, and make hiring decisions.? Education and Experience Required.
BSEE + 10 years of industry experience Preferred.
