records, identifies, and samples raw materials, concentrated dialysate, water (various grades), and required samples.
approves, prepares, and/or reports physical-chemical and microbiological analyses of raw materials, concentrated dialysate, water, or required analyses according to current laboratory methodology (dhr, certificates, etc.).
operates specialized laboratory equipment such as plasma spectrophotometers, high-performance liquid chromatographs, and endotoxin quantification plate readers.
manages and controls controlled environment areas.
verifies biological indicator (bi) loads for the sterility process of finished products.
prepares and/or verifies solutions or culture media used in the laboratory.
cleans areas, equipment, and materials in the laboratory.
sterilizes and/or depyrogenates materials in the laboratory.
records and/or verifies temperatures, differential pressures, and controls charts in laboratory and/or plant areas.
controls and tracks inventories of chemical, biological reagents, standards, and culture media, as well as supplies used in the laboratory.
prepares and executes method and/or equipment validations.
prepares and executes the stability program.
complies with the calibration and maintenance program for specialized laboratory equipment and instruments.
complies with safety and hygiene measures in the laboratory and/or plant (e.
., 6’s).
ensures the transfer of chemical and biological waste from the laboratory to the plant waste storage.
develops area procedures (sop, wg, forms, etc.).
supports required quality activities to ensure the quality system is active and updated.
manages and supervises laboratory personnel for physical-chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, concentrated dialysate, and medical devices manages resources necessary for project execution with support/engineering areas.
tracks laboratory quality metrics (oos, bpl, datacard, ncmr, ri, capa, scar, td, mrb).
