CEN) ECONOMIC ANALYST

Job Description Support the economic research team in analyzing macroeconomic and construction trends, forecasting economic and construction data, developing internal publications, and conducting research activities.
Main Responsibilities Collect and manage economic, financial, and construction-related databases.
Analyze macroeconomic trends and forecast key macroeconomic variables (e.
., GDP growth, inflation, FX) and national cement demand for multiple countries.
Elaborate monthly publications and internal/external presentations.
Response to ad-hoc requests from top management and local/regional planning teams.
Position Challenges Maintain databases updated and operational.
Develop and implement econometric and other statistical techniques to improve forecasting accuracy.
Engage in discussions with countries’ business units about macroeconomic and industry forecasts.
Monitor macroeconomic events and assist in analyzing and communicating key emerging issues or policy changes that could impact the business in the short and/or long run.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a forecasting framework for economic and construction trends.
Qualifications Advanced English proficiency required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field.
Previous work experience preferred.
Proficient in data analysis and economic modeling techniques.
Strong communication and writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking ability, both independent and collaborative work capabilities, proactive and assertive approach.
