You’ll actively source carriers, build strong partnerships, and ensure seamless shipment coordination for our customers.

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following.
Actively seek carriers in the US domestic market via phone, email, social media, and other sources.
Identify suitable carriers and coordinate shipments in close collaboration with them.
Research and onboard new carriers and build strong partnerships.
Maintain and grow existing carrier relationships, identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
Conduct carrier calls to assess availability, secure commitments, and negotiate transportation rates.
Identify backup carriers for critical situations to ensure operational continuity.
Offer trucks to Capacity teams within your branch and across the network.
Ensure customer load requirements are met for both scheduled and ad-hoc shipments.
Develop supply chain solutions that align with customers’ go-to-market strategies.
Analyze market trends and seasonality to optimize capacity planning.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or college.
Experience in customer service and/or the transportation/logistics sector.
Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to seize new opportunities.
Team player with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for collaboration.
Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing techniques.
Skilled in prioritising tasks and performing under pressure to meet deadlines.
