his position reports toCategory ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Services division in San Luis Potosí.
You will be mainly accountable for.
nitiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
egotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists and terms and conditions.
ecommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
nalyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
ollowing up and tracking payments to suppliers.
ualifications for the roleBachelors Degree in International trade, Logistics, Business Management, Industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
years of experience in Direct Materials purchasing.
xperience in quotations and negotiation with suppliers.
dvanced English proficiency.
AP or similar ERP experience.
xcel proficiency.
lectrical materials purchasing experience (preferred).
