BUSINESS ANALYST - OPS

Database Server Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented experienced professional to join the Oracle’s Mexico Development Center (MDC) Team.
This team is chartered with providing support to the local and global internal teams and external institutions for collection, organization, and display of business metrics and KPIs that are critical for each of the different LOBs.
The candidate will be a contributor in the DB strategy team, responsible for driving business excellence through data gathering and analysis.
They will cross coordinate with key resources in both the Ops team and resources in the larger DB and MDC to support key business objectives.
Education & Experience.
3-5+ years of Professional Services Consulting or Operations experience Bachelor’s degree in business and/or organizational development related field is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Oracle stack is an advantage.
Must be a self-starter, highly analytical with sound decision making skills Ability to lead projects/tasks and maintain a schedule to ensure completion within a timely manner Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is critical Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required An ability to operate independently with limited direction/supervision Advanced MS Office skills required (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook at a minimum) Flexible, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and relationship building Career Level - IC3 Job Responsibilities.
Job duties range from routine to moderately complex tasks that utilize some level of independent judgement.
Conduct data quality checks and implement measures to improve data accuracy and reliability in the reporting process.
Proactively identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Carry out special projects and events as assigned by manager and/or executive leadership.
Build proactive, positive relationships with peers, managers, Executive Leaders, Development teams, Customer Success, including Sales, Delivery and Operations teams Participate in regular meetings and discussions to contribute insights and suggestions for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Stakeholder Management with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with the different business internal stakeholders that the role requires Document report generation procedures, data sources, and methodologies for transparency and consistency Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work is dynamic and critical, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization Execute project desk functions including, but not limited to business approvals, documentations, order requests, policies, and guidelines.
