BUSINESS ANALYST - IT FINANCE & LEGAL (SAP FI)

To strengthen our Finance, Control and Legal Mexico Hub, we are looking for a Business Analyst to complete our Management Accounting Team.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Management Accounting Business Analyst Manager you will be responsible for the deployment and support of one or several products within the Management Accounting Product Group as subject matter expert supporting LATAM countries (including Mexico) on financial reporting, planning and forecasting, with a primary focus on SAP CO-PA.
Your role is critical to bringing innovation to finance by exploring new technologies, eradicating business disruptions in operations, and enabling efficiency in Finance & Control operations in LATAM.

Permanent   Key responsibilities.
• Provide day-to-day support to Finance end users across LATAM.
• Implement finance technology solutions in line with functional stakeholders’ needs and the Management Accounting IT Product Group roadmap.
• Support business integration initiatives including Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestures.
• Support Digital Transformation within Finance IS/IT • Deliver IS/IT Finance project on time and within budget.
• Translate technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance team.
• Support Period End Close and forecasting activities performed by the markets ensuring efficient use and adequate performance of the relevant IT tools.
• Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
• Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.

Required Profile.
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.

preferred.• 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.
• Project management experience.
• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design-thinking methodology.
• Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
• Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.
.
Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies.
• Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements.
• Deep understanding of the IT landscape in the functional area.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Controlling modules Profitability Analyzes, Cost center Accounting, • Profit center and Project Accounting.
• Working knowledge of Dynamic Forecasting tools.
• Working knowledge of Business Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) is also desirable.
• Experience with effective communication in English at different levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
• Experience with other Finance related modules within or outside of SAP, Master Data governance knowledge and fluency in Portuguese are a plus.
