The Basware SME plays a crucial role in optimizing the use of the Basware platform, driving procurement efficiencies, enhancing compliance, and ultimately contributing to the organizations financial performance and operational excellence.
This role includes to lead the entire process from point of order to payment, encompassing the activities of ordering, purchasing, receiving, paying, and accounting for goods and services.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary expert on Basware solutions, providing comprehensive knowledge of the platforms functionalities, features, and best practices in procurement and invoicing. Basware is an Accounts Payable Software created by Basware United States. Reduce costs and complexity with Basware accounts payable automation for medium and large companies.
Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of Basware solutions to align with organizational needs and improve operational efficiencies. Basware offers standardized cloudbased ProcuretoPay services invoice automation, procurement, travel and expense management, etc., Network einvoice receiving and sending, archiving, etc., and a variety of financing services.
Develop and deliver training programs for endusers, ensuring they can effectively utilize Basware for procurement, invoice processing, and expense management.
Analyze existing procurement and invoice processing workflows, recommending enhancements and leveraging Basware features to drive efficiency and compliance.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams e.g., finance, procurement, IT to ensure effective communication and alignment during Baswarerelated projects.
Provide support for Baswarerelated issues, troubleshooting problems, and coordinating with Basware support when necessary.
Utilize Baswares reporting tools to analyze procurement and invoicing data, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decisionmaking.

Experience required
Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Sgnificant experience working with Basware solutions, preferably in procurement or accounts payable roles, with a strong understanding of procurement and invoicing processes.
Proficient in using Basware, including its various modules e.g., Procurement, Invoice Processing, Analytics, and familiar with related ERP systems.
