We are seeking a skilled Technical Leading Analyst specializing in Reference Data Management to analyze, design, develop and implement an enterprise-wide Reference Data solution.
You will play a critical role in driving the technical direction, ensuring alignment with business needs, as well as managing a group of external consultants/developers to deliver the solution.
Responsibilities.
Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flows.
Coordinates and contribute to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business through leveraging in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function.
Assumes informal/formal leadership role through coaching and training of new recruits.
Significantly influences decisions, work, and performance of all teams through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in the business.
Conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and implications and make strategic recommendations, develops data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis.
Mines and analyzes data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality.
Delivers analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to identify data required, assess time & effort required and establish a project plan.
Consults with business clients to identify system functional specifications.
Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business goals.
Consults with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards; recommends solutions.
Leads system change process from requirements through implementation; provides user and operational support of application to business users Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry standards.
Impacts the business directly by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams.
Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment; identifies and communicates risks and impacts.
Drives communication between business leaders and IT; exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Lead the selection, design and implementation of the Enterprise Reference Data tool for the Bank.
Integrate RDM (Reference Data Management) solution with the enterprise systems in order to manage and redistribute the Reference Data Catalogues, either by batch process or APIs processes.
Lead the analysis to identify existent Reference Data catalogues, which systems consumes them and curate them.
Collaborate with cross functional technical areas, such as architecture, security, production support, infrastructure, procurement to agree the appropriate solution the covers the aspects needed to deliver this solution to production.
Collaborate with business areas to translate Reference Data Governance requirements to tool functionality.
Qualifications.
5-8 years experience on Reference Data, Master Data and Data integration solutions.
Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Experience implementing Reference Data solutions from vendor such as Informatica, IBM, Ataccama.
Experience on implementing a SaaS solution in a Bank, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS.
Proficiency in data modeling, data integration and API development.
Solid understanding of database technologies.
Deep understanding of Reference Data concepts, terminology, lifecycle and the governance processes.
Education.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
