AZURE VIRTUAL DESKTOP (AVD) ADMINISTRATOR

Deploy and Manage AVD Instances.
Set up, configure, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including provisioning host pools, managing user sessions, and implementing scaling plans.
Monitor System Performance.
Regularly monitor the performance of the AVD environment, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize resource utilization and user experience.
Security and Compliance.
Implement security measures, manage updates and patches, and ensure the environment complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting and Support.
Provide technical support for AVD users, resolving issues related to desktop performance, connectivity, and security.
Collaborate with IT Teams.
Work with network, security, and application teams to ensure that the AVD infrastructure integrates well with other IT systems.
Documentation and Reporting.
Maintain detailed documentation of the AVD environment and generate reports on usage, performance, and security.
Continuous Improvement.
Stay updated with the latest AVD features and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements and new capabilities.
Disaster Recovery and Backup.
Manage backup processes and disaster recovery plans for the AVD environment.
User Management.
Manage user access and permissions within the AVD platform, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
Training and Guidance.
Provide training to end-users and IT staff, ensuring effective use of the AVD environment.
Requisitos Required Skills and Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an AVD administrator or similar role in managing virtual desktop environments.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services, especially Azure Virtual Desktop.
Familiarity with networking principles, including DNS, DHCP, and network security.
Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.
., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
