his role is part of Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC).
The activities of this role are primarily focused on engineering design, customer documentation, bills of material, manufacturing drawings, and customer specification revision.
The incumbent performs engineering design activities on time, engineering job activities in accordance with quality requirements, preparation of specific order documents, and job-related calculations.
ESPONSIBILITIES.
ake ownership of engineering activities.
ollaborate with BU's and GTEC Engineers to improve Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.
ave strong collaboration with the project team.
ollow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.
ork with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate \u resolve shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues; record \u report findings, make corrections \u help develop and implement permanent, cost-effective solutions.
reate design drawings and other documents with the help of CAD tools.
enerate bills of material and manufacturing drawings for engineered products.
dentify new/improved design standards and procedural documents.
esponsible for identifying upgrade opportunities for processes and products.
erform basic design calculations.
rovide technical support to internal and external customers.
eliver on-time engineering deliverables.
eet project timelines for engineering documentation and gather approvals at the first issue.
nsure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation.
KILLS.
achelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
- 2 years of related experience.
omputer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design.
nalytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
ood planning, time management, and organizational skills.
nderstanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.
asic English verbal and written skills.
