ur latest vacancy - Associate Planner The purpose of the role:-As an Associate you will take a leadership role on planning applications and projects, andcoordinating and overseeing projects.
You will take a role in assisting the Regional Directorand Associate Directors in developing the team’s core competencies and continue to extendyour technical and mentoring skills.

esponsible for interpreting, organising, researching, analysing and executing a major project and / or medium scale projects.
rovides fee control, technical direction and effectively manages senior client liaisonProvides guidance on complex technical issues to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
anages medium projects or several small ones with complex featuresProject managing a mix of planning submissions and appealsTechnical planning work including liaising with client, preparing fee proposals, policy research.
reparing and submitting planning applicationsPreparing written local plan representationsUndertaking site inspections and assessing the merits of proposalsGiving guidance to engineers/architects on the production of drawings and supplementary information in relation to planning submissions.
ubmitting planning appeals and leading on written representations appeals and contributing to appeal hearings as required.
Qualifications & Experience An RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
chartered member of the Royal Town Planning InstituteAt least four years’ post qualification experience in a relevant roleWill have spent a reasonable amount of time working in the planning industry, ideally including some experience of working in the private sector Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent communication skills including written, and verbal.
