Are you ready to make your next career move to join KONE as our Associate Contracts Legal Counsel? As our Associate Contracts Legal Counsel you will establish yourself as the primary source of advice and support services to management and personnel on all legal issues affecting KONE Mexico’s frontline operations.
You will provide legal advice and representation and help to resolve customer disputes in three key areas.

conduct preliminary compliance investigation, draft templates for business lines, prepare customer response letters for frontlines, support collections team, and support communications team.
You will also.
• Review, drafts and negotiates contracts and other legal documents.
• Draft contract templates.
• Develop, implements and updates relevant legal policies and guidelines.
• Ensure that shareholders’ meetings, board meetings and related filings and documentation are timely done in compliance with applicable laws and reported under the KONE Company Files policy.
• Focus on preventing legal and contractual problems.
• Follow changes in laws and regulations and advise on how they impact KONE • Coordinate legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities so that the organization’s interests are protected.
• Maintain and coordinates contacts with external lawyers and related advisors.
• Collaborate with business colleagues to achieve targeted business results with acceptable level of legal risk • Provide training on legal areas affecting KONE’s business.
We are looking for someone who has.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills in Spanish and English.
More than 5 years of civil law experience in a law firm, corporation, or as a notary.
Familiarity with service and construction industry desirable.
Possession of, or ability to qualify for and acquire any passport or work visa required to attend meetings and conferences in the US.
4-year college level education with law degree Availability to travel up to % during the year.

Strong and effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate.
An ability to conduct multiple tasks simultaneously and solve practical problems.
An ability to write reports and business correspondence.
