About the Role.

08 About the Role.
Financial Accountant Responsibilities and Impact.
The Impact.
This role will be a key member of the finance team supporting the senior business line leadership team.
Responsibilities.
Follow-up with clients rigorously over calls and emails for payments of overdue invoices.
Prepare invoices and their complement according to Mexican Tax Laws.
Respond promptly and completely to both customer and internal inquiries.
Working closely with order management, customer service, cash applications and sales management teams to resolve customer queries & dispute in time.
Provide general customer service regarding customer refunds, payment forms, payment discrepancies, and tax forms/ procedures, payment histories, statements of account, etc.
Prepare and record journal entries according to Mexican accounting standards (NIF) & US GAAP.
Develop billing and Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
Responsible for the month end processes, including the preparation & posting of journals along with preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations regarding income and accounts receivable from clients.
Liaising and interacting with external auditors pursuant to the timely completion of statutory audits carried out.
Travel expense control according to Mexican tax laws.
Performing other related tasks as required Integrate and continues improve accounting / close process.
What We’re Looking For.
Basic Required Qualifications.
Proficient in US GAAP & NIF.
2 years’ work experience in Financial Accounting required.
Strong accounting skills/knowledge.
Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Demonstrated investigative research and analytical capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically in Excel.
Must be proactive in follow up to solve issues, ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Additional Preferred Qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance.
Proficiency with Oracle Financials or other similar financial systems.
Salesforce in AR environment is a great add-on.
