Job Description The Assembler III is responsible for assembling high quality medical devices according to established quality and manufacturing processes and procedures.
As a key team member, the Assembler III will assist the Lead Assembler and Production Supervisor in scheduling and providing work direction to Assemblers.
Job Duties Assemble, inspect, and test medical devices according to manufacturing process.
Assist in the coordination of daily work schedule with the Lead Assembler and Production Supervisor.
Communicate workload schedules and work direction to Assemblers and answer questions as needed.
Train new or less experienced Assemblers in areas of responsibility Serve as designated backup to Lead in areas of responsibility.
Demonstrates and applies a solid understanding of LEAN principles to help improve established metrics.
Monitor Metrics data to ensure correct data is documented by team members in assigned areas of responsibility.
Accurately completes and maintains written records of manufacturing operations on production documentation following appropriate training i.
Device History Records, Data Sheets Lot Control.
Support procedure changes and promote new procedures due to product line changes and technology changes.
Interact, support, and collaborate with Leads, Supervisors and/or engineers to identify and resolve line issues.
Inform Lead Assembler or Supervisor of material shortage.
Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
Perform cycle counts of components and sub-assemblies as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment by following and practicing good housekeeping and safety guidelines/policies.

Assist Technicians and/or Engineers with adjusting and troubleshooting automatic manufacturing equipment.
Maintain confidentiality of documents and processes.

Job Qualifications Required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of previous medical device or related assembly experience.
Internal Assemblers may advance based on management’s discretion and demonstrated job performance.
Must have detailed knowledge of the products, processes, and relevant skill sets.
Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.).
Monday -Thursday, 10 hours per day.
Working overtime on Fridays and work on weekends on occasion as required by the business.
Preferred.
Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions in English.
Ability to use basic mathematical skills as required to perform job duties.
(Add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Must be able to perform repetitive work according to set procedures, sequence and pace.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices, Good Manufacturing Procedures, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
Must have fine motor skills and high degree of speed, dexterity and eye coordination to work with and assemble small parts and subassemblies using both hands.
Experienced operating manufacturing and measurement equipment not limited to.
microscopes, test equipment, EFDs, ultrasonic welders, induction welder, soldering irons, dial calipers, pressure gages, and rulers.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, notes, and layouts.
Must be able to work effectively within Microsoft Office tools, Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams and site-specific PC programs as required to perform job duties.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $ / hour, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
