About this role We’re looking for an Affiliate Marketing Senior Associate to join our team In this role you will support global affiliate accounts and would be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including payments, transaction verification, promotional offers for affiliates, and support requests.
You would also work closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, finance, legal, etc., and support all initiatives for the team.
This person is the key player behind the scenes that ensures our affiliate program is running smoothly and continues to be successful.
As you evolve in your role, you will become the subject matter expert on all things affiliate and operations related in the marketing function.
To be successful in this role, you must have the willingness to learn, iterate quickly, be creative, and be hands-on.
You must love working and developing great relationships internally with cross-functional partners, be extremely responsive, great at building and following processes.
You need to be passionate about data and have a keen interest in digging into numbers to find answers.
If you have a passion for learning and education and want to join a leading global organization in the education space and make a difference, we invite you to apply now What you'll be doing Manage Affiliate Promotions calendar, including all offers, brand assets, and bi-monthly communications to the entire affiliate program Serve as a point of escalation for Affiliate support tickets originating from Zendesk, including affiliate applications, transaction verification, and program compliance Train our frontline support team to deliver great affiliate support and scale the program Track, confirm, and process all payments to Affiliates and Networks, working internally with the Udemy Accounts Payable Team Act as an Admin on the Affiliate Network within the Udemy Affiliate Program Build relationships with long-tail affiliate partners - including identifying potential partners, reaching out, and introducing them to Udemy.
What you’ll have 4 years of experience working in affiliate marketing including working within Affiliate Networks like Rakuten and AWIN Bilingual.
English & Spanish speaker / writer Experience in marketing operations, business operations, partner marketing or project management Knowledge of digital marketing and campaign creation Understanding of accounting/finance and knowledge of contracts and legal agreements Ability to work autonomously, and manage cross-functional projects, extremely methodical and organized, with great attention to details Strong problem-solving and data analytics skills.
Mastery of data analysis in spreadsheets is a must and an understanding of SQL is a plus.
Experience working in Salesforce and Zendesk Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment About your skills Affiliate Marketing Expertise.
Experience working within affiliate networks like Rakuten and AWIN, with a solid understanding of affiliate program management.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Experience managing cross-functional projects, working autonomously with teams such as brand, finance, legal, and operations.
Data Analytics & Problem Solving.
Strong skills in data analysis, with mastery of spreadsheets, and ideally some knowledge of SQL.
An analytical mindset to dive into numbers for insights and problem-solving.
Marketing & Digital Campaign Knowledge.
A solid grasp of digital marketing principles and campaign creation, essential for managing promotions and communication with affiliates.
