Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Understand engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs.
Apply and u nderstand control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems with desired behaviors.
Apply control technologies to Aero gas turbine new units and aftermarket applications.
Test and develop requirements for Aero application code in MarkVIe Control system.
Implement new control technologies into packaged product offerings.
Participate in Factory Acceptance / Software Witnesses Acceptance Tests / CKOM with customers.
Support site installations with occasional travel to customer sites 80% Office 20% Travel to customer site.
Contribute in projects with responsibility for quality and schedule metrics.
Support Controls Software Engineering process, Production and Field Engineering Contribute on Software development new units, CM&Us and perform validation test.
Contribute on the solution of complex technical problems.
Support Controls Requisitions Engineering, Production and Field Engineering.
Provide engineering technical support cross functional teams to improve or resolve Controls design, performance.
Contribute on the software development for NPI and validation test.
Ability to create software automatic tools.
Provide communications on significant issues or developments.
Ensure proper documentation of technical data is generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Participate on the implementation of innovative analysis design, development concepts of processes and systems.
Required Qualifications BS degree in Controls, Electrical & Mechatronics engineering from an accredited university.
Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to program PLC´s, Micro Controllers.
Matlab.
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability in establishing common goals and objectives.
Passion for continuous learning and applying best practices to achieve practical solutions.
Desired Characteristics Master’s degree in related field Understanding of Aero derivative engines.
Experience developing Human Machine Interface HMI.
MarkVIe/RX3i Control System Experienced desired.
Industrial Power generation control knowledge.
Knowledge of network protocols Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet.
