ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & PAYROLL ASSISTANT JOB DETAILS | LEGGETT & PLATT

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Account Receivable & Payroll Assistant within our Finance team to help support our Aerospace business.
At L&P Aerospace, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interactions.
How high are our quality standards, you ask?  So much so, that we have products on-board the Space Launch System with NASA, as well as the F-15 and F-35 fighter jets!  If you join our team, your work will ensure families across the world fly a little safer, wherever their travels may take them.
You will join a small on-site Finance team, reporting directly to the Management Accountant.
This is a permanent full-time role, carrying out all aspects of accounts receivable and payroll function.
Core Responsibilities   Process invoices and customer payments accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.
Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into the accounting system.
Lease with Customers regarding any overdue payment.
Customer Statement reconciliations Daily, weekly and monthly reports as required, Prepare the monthly payroll and pension submissions, liaising with external payroll and pension providers.
Maintain Time and Attendance system.
Maintain LP Core for the branch.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures including assisting on internal and external audits.
Role Specifications   Experience and Skills.
Required.
Experience and knowledge of VAT Reporting.
Strong working knowledge accounts payable or general accounting experience.
Experience in accounts receivable operations.
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
Understanding of basic bookkeeping, financial management knowledge.
Knowledge of relevant accounting software.
Strong customer relationship and communication skills   Desirable.
E xperience using MRP systems (Epicor would be advantageous) Strong excel skills Payroll administration experience (can be trained) Good financial and commercial skills desirable Education.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation.
Additional Detail.
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on site.
