ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

Our client, a well established and growing global freight forwarder, has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to work on-site in their Jamaica, NY office.
his individual will be responsible for providing support to the accounts receivable department and performs accounts receivable functions.
hat you'll be doing? Prepares daily bank deposits; reviews for accuracy.
pplies payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
onitors and maintains accounts receivable aging.
ssists with accounts receivable process through correspondence and collection calls as directed.
repares customer invoices; reconciles customer accounts.
etrieves credit reports and assists with review of customer credit issues.
aintains accounts receivable files.
ssists with related special projects as needed.
erforms other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications.
One-year certificate from college or technical school, six months to one year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

emonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts.
roficient on SAP.
